As we’ve recently reported, Brisbane tenants are enjoying the benefits of a flat period of rental growth.

But that doesn’t mean landlords are missing out altogether.

CoreLogic RP Data has crunched the numbers and uncovered some hidden gems bucking the city-wide average, including a northside hot spot clocking up close to a 10 per cent increase in rents over the past year.

“While the broad figures certainly tell a broad story, as always there are certain suburbs recording much stronger rental growth as well as those seeing much greater falls,” CoreLogic RP Data reports on its website.

Landlords in the Sydney suburb of Collaroy are rejoicing with a 31.6 per cent increase placing this hot performer at the top of the rental increase list. While Darwin landlords are watching their yields reverse, with Humpty Doo recording a -4.8 per cent change in the 12 months to September 2015.
