Zillmere is one of those northside middle ring burbs where the median prices for houses ($860,000) and the units ($603,500) are comfortably below the Brisbane median.
Coupled with amenity and a range of housing stock, including older post-war homes, newer builds and townhouses, its appeal is broad.
This makes for high buyer demand. So high in fact that Zillmere was one of only two Queensland burbs to crack the top #10 list for fastest selling homes in Australia, reports realestate.com.au.
