#3 Most popular bargain Brissie burbs all on the north side

by Kate Watt, Marketing Manager 29 August 2024

Bargain hunters in Brisbane are flocking to the north side in search of good value buying.

New analysis from realestate.com.au has looked at the top suburbs in each capital city based on high search results and a suburb median price below the city-wide median.

In Brisbane the top three suburbs for bargain hunting searches are:

  • Redcliffe – median price $770,000
  • North Lakes – median price $809,000
  • Narangba – median price $780,000

These price points all compare favourably to the Brissie median of $840,000.

If those burbs seem a little further out than you’d like to be, you can track your way back in along the Redcliffe or Caboolture rail lines and you’ll find some great value options closer to the middle ring.

Petrie itself is proving a popular northern burb with its quaint country vibe and relative affordability.

Closer still, pockets of Bray Park, Bald Hills, Strathpine and Zillmere offer good buying.

Units and townhouses of course will provide cheaper options again and metro hubs like Chermside and even Aspley can offer some different price points on that front.

Albany Creek is still a family favourite for houses and townhouses on a family size budget.
