#10 Rising star suburbs tipped to surge

by Kate Watt, Marketing Manager 23 May 2024

High demand, proximity to transport and great lifestyle factors are set to propel some Brissie burbs to greatness this year, according to new research.

The Rising Star report produced by Canstar with Hotspotting guru Terry Ryder has Brisbane topping the charts this year for growth, reports SBS News.

But not every suburb will claim an equal share of the property price party.

The list of rising stars, tipped for above average growth, includes an interesting mix of inner city, middle ring and further afield locales.

North side picks include popular suburbs such as Wavell Heights and Nundah. Wavell is a popular pick for families while neighbouring Nundah and its urban village with higher density living options also caters for child free households.

Further north, Petrie pops up once again as a boom-burb. The affordability and country charm of this spot have been driving renewed interest as buyers have hunted for value.

The northern corridor in between these hotspots is also worth exploring if you’re in the market for a good value buy with solid growth potential. The northside middle ring is a perennially popular area offering amenity, green spaces as well as thriving retail and commercial hubs plus gentrifying café set pockets.
