The hot list for value hunters is courtesy of new data from Domain, reported by the Urban Developer.
Unit hunters will find the best deals in Clayfield, Everton Park, Fortitude Valley, Milton and Moorooka. These areas have seen strong unit development around lively retail and commercial hubs. Coupled with a small fall in Brisbane unit values last year, buyers can enjoy great value now, with median unit values in each of these areas under $400,000.
If you’re looking for a house, come on over to our ‘hood.
Chermside, Chermside West, Stafford Heights Everton Park and Keperra round out the top #10. It’s not surprising given all these suburbs’ median house values scrape in around $600,000 or less.
These suburbs are family friendly with growing opportunity for gentrification as younger buyers move in and renovate. So it’s probably not surprising you’ll also find a high concentration of Bunnings hardwares in these areas, including stores at Keperra, Stafford and Carseldine. They know their markets!
