The latest research from Property Update has tipped Chermside West as a ‘must see’ suburb for growth-hungry buyers.
The stats look good.
It has enjoyed 36 per cent growth over the last five years and is tipped to see higher gains than the neighbouring suburb of Chermside which is renowned for its vibrant commercial and retail hub.
The demographics look good too, with an owner occupier rate close to 80 per cent and a weekly family income above the Queensland average.
Here are more reasons why Chermside West should be on your radar:
“We are seeing this suburb really gentrifying as social housing and retirees move out, they are being replaced by younger professionals who are targeting the nearby Craigslea State School catchment,” it reports.
“The suburb also boasts two hospitals that draw health care professionals to the area and it benefits from the development of neighbour Chermside into a type of Satellite City”.
We know this local burb has a lot more on offer, including leafy nature reserves and bike trails, the revamping Rode Road shopping and dining precinct plus good access to major arterial roads, the airport and public transport.
