The Christmas elves at Bunnings have thrown together this list of Christmas count down clean up and fix-it tips to keep you on track for a jolly good festive season.
Two weeks out:
- Clean and oil your deck
- Change those broken lightbulbs
- Change the batteries in your smoke detectors
- Clean the gutters – but be careful on that ladder!
One week out:
- Tidy the front garden
- Clean your couches, carpet and upholstery
- Clean your oven.
A few days before Christmas
- Give your outdoor entertaining area a final clean
- Give your indoors a good clean: walls, windows, bathroom
- Give your kitchen a deep clean: sinks, taps, benchtops – and wipe kids’ handprints off the fridge door and other shiny surfaces.
And on Christmas day, sit back, relax and enjoy the festivities … then rinse and repeat clean up steps on Boxing Day!
