Market Update: Fastest selling suburbs

Units in the suburb of Brendale here in the north are selling with a median time on market of just 18 days, reflecting buyer demand for affordable dwellings.

Also on the northside, Nundah units are selling in 19 days, highlighting strong interest in amenity and value.

These suburbs are the 9^th and 10^th fastest selling unit markets in Queensland, according to PropTrack data. The absolute fastest selling units are in the Townsville suburb of Garbutt, where buyers are swooping on stock in just 13 days.

For Queensland houses, Zillmere is still topping the charts, with sales taking just 17 days. Nearby Chermside West is also sizzling with a median days on market of just 21.

“These rapid sales times highlight pockets of the market where competition is strongest, often in regions where buyers can still find relative value,” reports PropTrack.

“While enquiries remain high in select premium suburbs, competitive momentum appears to be strongest in areas offering a blend of value and lifestyle.”
