New research from Cotality (formerly CoreLogic) has shown that a cluster of popular suburbs here in the northern middle ring are still offering entry level houses below $1 million.
While units can be snapped up for around half that amount.
Chermside, Chermside West, Stafford, Stafford Heights, Everton Park and Keperra all ranked in the top #10 burbs for entry level houses within 10km of the CBD, reports 9news.com.au.
Spring Hill, Fortitude Valley, Bowen Hills and Kelvin Grove offered the best entry level buying for units with the cheapest options still selling in the mid to high $400,000s.
Entry level prices were calculated based on the cheapest quartile of property values, that means the cheapest 25 per cent of property values.
