#10 Brissie burbs set for a click frenzy price rise

If clicks on the search button are anything to go buy, then north side middle ring burbs are set to see prices rises.

Seven of the top #10 suburbs which saw the highest rate of searches on realestate.com.au in the past year are on the north side, with a focus on the perennially popular middle ring.

Family and budget friendly suburbs like Stafford and Albany Creek are seeing a surge in searches as buyers seek to balance amenity with value.

Stafford searches increased by 15.9 per cent in the 12 months to February 2024, according to PropTrack data, while Albany Creek searches increased 17 per cent. With median house prices hovering around the million dollar mark, these suburbs offer a mix of more affordable options with some higher end stock to suit a range of buyers and budgets.

Topping the list of fast growing Brisbane searches was Alderley which saw a whopping 21.9 per cent increase.

Further north, Caboolture (15.8 per cent) and Morayfield (20.3 per cent) also saw an increase in searches, reflecting a growing interest in affordable suburbs.
