The PropTrack Overseas Search Report showed that in the March quarter, rental property searches were up 34% – their highest since PropTrack records began in 2019. Searches from property buyers rose 29%.
The countries with the highest searches for Aussie property were New Zealand, USA, UK, China, Singapore, Hong Kong and India.
This spike coincides with an increase in international student arrivals. The most searched-for destinations including Sydney, Melbourne, the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Perth.
