PropTrack senior analyst Karen Dellow told Domain there was definitely an emerging trend for luxe apartment developments in middle-ring suburbs.
“These apartments include amenities such as cinema rooms, wine cellars and hotel style concierge services,” she said.
Prices can be a little eye watering compared to your run-of-the-mill apartment or townhouse. But it can be a more affordable way to achieve a luxury family-size home without the detached home price tag.
It’s not just families expected to show interest. Empty nesters are also tipped to find the prospect of middle ring luxury appealing, as they seek to downsize to a lower maintenance lifestyle without leaving the social connections they established within their suburb while raising their families.
