- Albany Creek has long been a mecca for families and that’s not likely to change anytime soon. Post war renovators and large blocks are attractive for first timers and growing families alike.
- Strathpine is a bargain hunter’s paradise with great value buying still on offer. It doesn’t have the gentrifying trendiness of some ugly ducklings but with a thriving retail and commercial centre it’s shaking off its old reputation and offering plenty of amenity for those willing to give it a chance.
- Kallangur sits a little further out but it’s got a few bonus points in its favour with a rail line and proximity to the Sunshine Coast University campus at Petrie.
- Ferny Hills offers a leafy, rolling vista plus some great family parks and a public pool. Its proximity to the Ferny Grove Central development is why it’s catching the eye of value hunters. We’d add Ferny Grove to the list too for the same reason, with schools and train station proximity all a big bonus.
- The Redcliffe Peninsula has been tipped for greatness ever since the rail line reached its Moreton Bay shores. For those who have discovered it, the greatness is real, but it hasn’t been swamped so it continues to offer pockets of first-timer-friendly buying.
