Brissie buyers don’t have to pay the earth for a slice of convenience within 10km to the city.
You can pick up an urban home for a price tag that starts with a five – including in perennially popular suburbs here on the north side.
Stats from the September 2020 quarter show Keperra – offering the convenience of a train line, golf club, supermarkets, and schools – had a median price tag of just $560,000. Looking at the current stats in a little more detail shows that good value remains even with strong growth in the December quarter.
A three-bedroom home has a median price of just $549,000, moving up to $637,000 for a four-bedroom home. It also offers solid growth potential having clocked up 4.7 per cent growth year-on-year according to a Domain report from September last year.
Just a few minutes’ drive away, past the convenience of Brookside shopping centre – where you can always get an undercover carpark – you’ll find Everton Hills where a three-bedroom home comes with a median price of $574,000.
And one kilometre closer to the city you’ll discover Everton Park with its own bustling commercial, retail and food scene at the intersection of South Pine Road and Stafford Road. You’ll also be pleased to discover its three-bedroom house median price tag of $615,000.
