Nowhere is this stark reality clearer than the bunch of Brissie burbs where far more Aussies are looking for homes than there are properties on the market.
This includes the hugely popular north side favourites of Wavell Heights and Stafford Heights, reports news.com.au.

If you caught our market wrap video last week you’ll already know the north side has super low days-on-market and unprecedented levels of interest in open homes with up to 50 to 60 groups through new listings within just 10 days.
That’s not the only sign of a burgeoning buyer frenzy. Brisbane’s auction clearance rate has surged with buyer confidence and is more than double what it was this time last year, reports realestate.com.au.
Across the property market there were “millions more buyers” hunting for homes and prices were rising in line with increased competition, according to Realestate.com.au chief economist Nerida Conisbee.
The south side is also seeing strong demand with the most searched for place in greater Brisbane the leafy suburb of Barellan Point, which has seen a four-fold increase in searches over 12 months, driven by its affordable rural-residential lifestyle.
