Property consultant Daniel D’Silva took out Newcomer of the Year and Megan Debreceny was recognised as Office Administrator of the Year.
Our dynamic duo also happen to be a couple!
Daniel left a career in banking to start with us in 2016 and has quickly become a rising star of Brisbane’s northside real estate scene.
“I made the switch from approving home loans to helping people find their dream home,” says Daniel. “In banking, I was able to see the errors and issues people encountered when selling their home and dealing with agents. When I made the decision to get into real estate, I wanted to make sure the whole process was as effortless, honest and professional as possible for clients.”
We seem to specialise in producing some of the industry’s top administrators – Megan’s win is our third in this category at the Real Estate Business Awards.
As well as offering sales support and customer service, Megan uses her graphic design skills to help with our marketing initiatives.
Megan was especially recognised for her efforts in innovation, helping to implement the first ever digital assistant for real estate in Australia. The system is called Rita.
“Rita now manages more than 750 enquiries every month,” says Megan. “It means we have faster response times and no enquiry is ever missed. Service that ‘wows’ is so important.”
As for our Watt Realty principal and CEO, Justin Watt, he couldn’t be more proud of Daniel and Megan.
“Office admin can be the unsung heroes of any workplace and Megan has a deep sense of responsibility for the office vibe,” he said. “She is amazing in everything she does.
“We couldn’t be happier with Daniel, his work ethic in the time he has been with us has just been phenomenal. The whole team is delighted they have been recognised in these national awards.”
Bring on 2019!
