After successfully taking on Women’s Day publisher Bauer Media for defamation she’s probably feeling a little over that whole media thing.
The $6 million she’s seeking from the case would certainly cover the $3.85 million she paid for the two-bedroom Tribeca apartment, reports Domain.
But she’s made it clear that proceeds from the defamation case will go towards charitable causes, not her own hip pocket. Nice one Rebel.
The Pitch Perfect star is filming in New York over summer so will likely use the luxury pad at 433 Greenwich Street as her home base.
When she’s not filming she can pop next door to borrow a cup of sugar from a list of neighbours that reads like a roll call of Hollywood’s heavy hitters.
Justin Timberlake, Jessica Biel, Harry Styles, Meg Ryan, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Jake Gyllenhaal and Jennifer Lawrence have all reportedly bought into the building.
