How Watt got the job done
Joel & Melina purchased their Aspley home in 2007 and had completed a killer reno - including adding an impressive deck off the back. It was now time to upscale (a pool was calling).
For me, the pressure was on.
Having invested heavily in their killer reno Joel & Melina wanted to see a killer sales price. They also both work for SunSuper - so returns are important!
To do that we had the crucial conversations and we had them upfront. From there were developed a clever selling strategy, which included staging, photography, copywriting and price positioning.
My goal was to make Joel & Melina’s home stand out from the competition (after all they were competing with all other homes on the market).
And it did.
We were inundated with enquiry and were running opens almost back to back. Which can be stressful – but Melina hung in there. We got offers, but we waited for ‘the one’. After 7 weeks on the market, the home sold to young, newly married couple Mitchell and Lisa at $15,000 above list.
I was happy to secure a record price for the size of their home/area and the icing on the cake for Joel & Melina – a nice 60 day settlement to take the pressure off finding their next home (which they did & it has a pool!).
