My client Colleen lives in NSW. In 2004 she moved there to take care of her mother and needed a Property Manager for her Nundah townhouse.
With recommendation from her niece (a tenant in one of our rentals), she appointed us. We've managed her property ever since.
Distance is no issue in our relationship. I give regular updates - with lots of photos. I do inspections every 3 months to give her peace of mind that there are great tenants out there that will love her home as much as she does.
Colleen likes a well-maintained property so part of our service includes organising lawn and garden care. This makes for happy tenants too - a win win for everyone!
She also likes long-term leases and well-screened tenants (to minimise vacancies and advertising costs) - which is how I roll anyway. Her current tenants have been in for over a year and have just re-signed another fixed-term lease. Why wouldn't they with such a good rental…and landlord!
Colleen often comments that she's happy with her investment, her tenants and the level of service we've provided over the last 11 years. I'm happy that she's happy.
